How to use it

  1. Enter the price the item sold for, or the accepted offer price.
  2. Read the fee: $2.95 flat under $15, or 20% at $15 and above.
  3. The amount you keep is your earnings before cost of goods. Poshmark pays the shipping label, so nothing else comes out.
  4. Switch the mode to work backwards from the amount you want to keep.

Worked example

A top sells for $25.00.

That’s $15 or more, so the fee is 20%: $25.00 × 20% = $5.00. You keep $20.00.

A $12.00 sale is under $15, so the fee is a flat $2.95 and you keep $9.05, an effective rate of 24.58%.

How it's calculated

If the sale price is under $15: fee = $2.95

If the sale price is $15 or more: fee = sale price × 20%

you keep = sale price − fee

Buyer-paid shipping goes to Poshmark to cover the prepaid USPS label, so it never touches your fee or your earnings. Reverse mode adds $2.95 back, or divides by 0.80, and rounds up to the next cent.

FAQ

Why does a $14 sale cost more in fees than a $15 sale?

Under $15 the fee is a flat $2.95, which is 21% of $14. At exactly $15 it switches to 20%, or $3.00. The flat fee bites hardest on very cheap items, so it's often worth bundling low-value pieces into one listing.

Is shipping included in the fee?

No. The buyer pays Poshmark's flat shipping charge directly, and Poshmark uses it for the prepaid USPS Priority Mail label. Your fee is calculated on the item price alone.

Does the fee change for offers and bundles?

The same rule applies to whatever the buyer actually pays: an accepted offer of $14 is charged $2.95; a $30 bundle is charged 20%. Enter the final agreed price.

Are there any other seller fees?

Not for a standard sale. Payment processing and the shipping label are covered by the commission. If you offer a shipping discount to close a sale, the difference comes out of your earnings.
